Dr. Amy Gershkoff Bolles

Dr. Bolles is a seasoned executive with experience as a CEO, COO, CFO, and Board Director for private and public companies. She has deep expertise in strategy, operations, and finance, and a proven track record of accelerating growth and expanding margin in consumer businesses.
Prior to launching Aurelia Lifestyle Brands, she held senior executive roles at consumer businesses including Levi Strauss & Co., eBay, and Zynga. At these and other companies, she has managed multiple 9-figure P&Ls and led teams of hundreds of people. She has led every major function within a consumer business, including operations, finance, marketing, technology, product, legal, and human resources.
She also previously led all media & analytics for Obama’s 2012 campaign, serving as one of the deputy campaign managers. Additionally, she was previously Founder & CEO of an advertising technology and software business, which she ran from inception through to a successful exit.
Dr. Bolles brings Board experience in consumer businesses including Minted, Havenly, and BoatsGroup. Her capital markets experience includes serving as SEAC Board Director, where she led the Transaction Committee for the $4.6B spin-off of Lionsgate Studios, after being recommended for the role by Goldman Sachs.
She has served as Senior Advisor to investment firms including Alumni Ventures, Neotribe Ventures, and Serendipity Capital, and has become a “go-to” executive and Board Director for investors such as Permira looking to prepare investments for liquidity, significantly accelerate growth, or materially expand the margin profile of consumer businesses in their portfolio.
Dr. Bolles has been named to the Global Top 100 Innovators list, Top 50 Women to Watch in Tech, Women to Watch For 2023, Who’s Who in America, and San Francisco's Most Influential Women in Business. Her articles have appeared in publications such as the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, TechCrunch, and Business Insider, and she has been a commentator on NPR, Bloomberg News, ABC, XM Radio, CSPAN, CNN, and for the New York Times.
She holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University in Quantitative Methods (data science).
